Benjamin Monroy is a 9-year-old Mexican American kart racer from Los Angeles, California, competing nationally in the SKUSA Micro and ROK Micro classes. His goal is simple: to keep learning, improving, and one day race professionally.
Benjamin discovered racing at six years old after attending the Long Beach Grand Prix. Inspired by the speed and excitement, he told his parents, “One day you’ll be watching me race instead of watching from the stands.” That dream led him to Adams Motorsports Park, where he began building the skills and discipline that continue to shape him today.
Since then, Benjamin has progressed from Kid Kart to national-level competition through consistent training, physical fitness, race study, and simulator practice. He also competes on iRacing to sharpen his race craft and stay prepared between race weekends.
In just a few years, Benjamin has earned five championships, 23 race wins, 12 pole positions, and 33 podium finishes. He currently races with Position-One Motorsports under coach Luis Martinez and continues his development through Forte Driving Development.
Away from the track, Benjamin enjoys giving back to his community as a youth ambassador for an organic supplement company and by volunteering with a Baja orphanage. He believes hard work, respect, integrity, and teamwork are just as important as speed.
As he prepares to move into the Mini category, Benjamin is focused on competing for wins at the ROK Vegas Finals and SKUSA SuperNationals, with the ultimate goal of racing in IMSA and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
